In the summer of 2010, Robert Gorini and Chris Ladwig started working and developing their ideas to create what is now The Nonparell."
The desire to experience and interact with God in a personal and corporate manner has always been at the center of our writing approach. We want to create an environment that brings people into God's presence whether by themselves, in their car, or in a congregation of worshipers. We personally believe that the biblical expresion of worship far outreaches musical expression alone. Worship is not just a hobby. In fact, realizing the magnficience of God in both the spectacular and the mundane of our lives is why we are compelled to write music. Worship expression that is pure, one that we believe God accepts and honors, is one that provokes us towards action. Especially towards helping those in need.
The Nonparell leads worship reguarly at the band's home church: Rock Church of Daytona Beach, Florida, covered by Pastors Fred and Phyllis Gorini.
